This policy explains what information NextCues collects when recruiting teams use our product, when candidates apply or interview through it, and when you visit our website, and how we use and protect it.
NextCues AI ("NextCues", "we", "us") provides software that helps recruiting teams create roles, find and assess candidates, run interviews and write hiring reports.
Organizations that use NextCues ("customers") decide which candidates to add and how to use their information. For candidate data, the customer is the data controller and NextCues processes that data on the customer's behalf. For account and website data, NextCues is the controller.
Account information. Name, email, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash) and role for each recruiter and admin, plus organization details entered at signup (name, industry, size, website, address).
Candidate information. Information our customers add or that candidates submit through an apply link or interview invite, such as name, contact details, resume, work history, answers to screening questions and notes recruiters record.
Interview information. For interviews run in NextCues: the interview transcript, the questions asked, AI-generated evaluations and scores, and the final report. Video and audio pass through our video provider to connect the call; we do not record or store the video.
Integrity signals. If an organization turns on interview integrity checks, the candidate's browser analyses the camera feed locally (for example, whether a face is present or lip movement matches speech). Only the resulting signals are sent to NextCues, not the video.
Usage and device information. Pages visited, actions taken and basic technical data (browser type, IP address in server logs). Our website analytics are privacy-focused and do not use cookies.
Messages. What you send us through the contact form or by email.
AI features send the relevant text (such as a job description, resume text or interview transcript) to our AI provider through its API. Data sent through the API is not used to train the provider's models.
AI output is advice for the recruiter. NextCues does not make hiring decisions and never rejects or hires a candidate on its own; a person at the hiring organization always decides.
We keep account and candidate data while the organization's account is active. Customers can delete candidates, interviews and roles at any time, which removes them from the service. When an organization closes its account, we delete its data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access is limited to the people in each workspace. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected customers of a breach as required by law.
Your information was provided by, or submitted to, the organization you applied to. To access, correct or delete it, contact that organization first. You can also email us at support@nextcues.com and we will pass your request on and help them respond.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to some uses of it. Recruiters and admins can update their own details from the Profile page. For anything else, email support@nextcues.com.
NextCues is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 16.
We may update this policy as the product changes. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let customers know by email or in the app.
